Our Story

NAC began in 2012 as a modest guesthouse at Nobewam, on the Accra-Kumasi Road. In 2015 work started on an 88-hectare estate at Akomadan, in the Offinso North District, and the first Akomadan facilities opened to guests in 2019. In 2021 NAC set out a master plan to 2030 that is turning the estate into a full eco-cultural destination: hotel, lake, attractions, wildlife and heritage in one place.

Today NAC Eco Resort is two sites, one family. Akomadan is the flagship resort; Nobewam is the welcoming stop on the main road between Accra and Kumasi.

Rooted In Asante Heritage

Our vision is to become West Africa's leading destination where nature, people and technology thrive in harmony, rooted in authentic Asante heritage. Culture is part of every visit: in our food, our welcome, our tours and the Ghana Heritage and Technology Centre now being developed.

Caring For The Land

▪ 65,000 trees planted, on the way to 100,000.

▪ About 6,000 tonnes of carbon offset each year.

▪ 15% of energy from renewable sources today, with a target of 40%.

▪ 45% of waste diverted from landfill, with a target of 70%.

▪ 325 people employed across both sites; 92% of the Akomadan team hired locally.
